The U.S. Department has catagorized Haiti as a category 4 (Do not Travel).The Internation Relief Support group has suspended its missions at this time. The situation will be assessed continuosly and missions will resume once it will be safe to travel to Haiti again.

 We have returned from a successful mission, November 2020, in the mountains of Mont Tranchant (Sharp Mountain), Haiti. We were graciously hosted by Fabienne Goutier, Executive Director of Fondation Louis and Gizou Lamothe (FLGL). We are proud to report that we have completed our second dental mission since our inception in 2018. Dr. Chantal Newsome, DDS, MPH with the assistance of Keith Newsome screened and treated numerous patients in a span of three days. The majority of the patients, young and old, suffered from acute and chronic dental diseases to severe life-threatening dental abscesses. Many requiring dental extractions. We are on track to return in January 2021 to continue the much needed dental services in the area. 

We strongly recommend and encourage medical and dental professionals in all specialties to join us and volunteer for our next mission trip. The need for healthcare is tremendous. Please contact us.
