Join IRSG in our journey in establishing IRSGINC as a premier nonprofit organization that is focused on providing dental care to adults and children in the underserved population in Haiti. As we make progress over the next several months, we will share all significant milestones. Our journey started in 2014 when volunteering in Haiti with The Organization for International Development (OID). Our most recent activities involved volunteering in Jamaica with OID in 2016, providing dental care and photography support. In 2017, we chaired a small group of club members to provide support to Hurricane relief efforts to the US Virgin Island, under the umbrella of the African and Latina Heritage Club (ALHC) located in Wimauma, Florida. The leadership of the International Relief Support Group (IRSG) is comprised of retired disabled veterans, and retired corporate volunteers from various disciplines. The core of the volunteers is from various health professions and individual supporters who have a strong desire to help the underserved communities.
After participating in Hurricane relief efforts for the US Virgin Island, the decision was made to pursue a lifelong dream to provide direct dental care to Haiti and other underserved communities. As IRSG moves forward, our journey will be documented initially through this blog site with photography to give our supporters a written and visual report of our activities, milestones and\or accomplishments.
